We delivered a very interesting event for our client ASUS Computers Czech Republic at Jakubovany airfield.
Invited guests could ride in a car driven by professional rally driver P. Jurečka in an RS Clio, or take a drift ride with Pawel Trela in a Nissan 200SX, which ASUS happens to sponsor, and with Michal Varholy in a BMW e30 335i. Drifting involves two cars, where the second tries to copy the line of the first perfectly. The first driver's task is to follow a course that runs as close as possible to the obstacles set up, all at speeds above 100 km/h.
The ride in the RS Clio was at even higher speeds. On the narrow roads around Jakubovany airfield, P. Jurečka, always with one invited guest on board, reached speeds above 180 km/h.
The whole event had a motorsport theme. Another activity guests could try was go-karting. It was also a competitive activity in which they could win ASUS money. Three riders always raced against each other on the track.
A party tent was set up for the invited guests, where they could enjoy catering and refreshments with pleasant music.
